This section will be devoted to Scriptural words and their meaning. We will not only establish the etymological roots of these words, but we will reveal how many English words are actually Hebrew words. Everything and anything you might want to know about the Hebrew language will be discussed and presented in this section.E-mail us if you want to know what a particular word is and we will be happy to post it here for all to read. If you are interested in it, maybe many others are, too.
CAPITALISMA capitalist these days has become anathema among many historical revisionists, liberal universities, and think tanks. This word is defined in our dictionaries as "an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange of wealth (capital) is made and maintained chiefly by private investors or corporations." In other words, how one succeeds depends on himself and his own willingness and desire. This, too, is the basic scriptural definition, for 'capital' comes from the Hebrew chafatz. In Hebrew, the "ch" has a "k" sound and the "f" has an alternative hard "p" sound. As the word evolved through the European language, it become capit(al). This word, scripturally, refers to both man's and YHVH's sovereign ability to seek, lawfully, what he desires. This is part of our constitution: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Here are some examples of this word.
Mizmor 1:2
