I Will

This is a song Brad wrote back in the early 1990's. It comes from Mark 1:41 And being moved with compassion, he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou made clean. Read the wonderful story. Here are the words:

I WILL

You can't imagine how I feel to carry wounds that will not heal.
Just not human, just not real. A mother's hand I cannot touch.
A father's love I need so much. Someone to hold me just one time.
One kind word I could call mine, I could call mine.
I heard a story 'bout a man who came to town today.
Who made the deaf to hear and calmed a stormy sea.
He said to come to Him, that He's the only way.
But if He's like the rest, He's got no time for me, no time for me.
God, if you're there, please hear my cry. In your mercy let me die!
I'll be silent, I'll be still. Just let me know.
Say You will. Please, say You will.

Then I heard the noise of voices in the street.
A glimpse of hope had filled the air.
I watched Him come my way. I said, "Who could this be?"
I've never been so calm, never been so scared, never been so scared.
With tender eyes He turned and looked at me. Took my hand.
He pulled me from my knees.
I said, "Oh God, could this be You I see?
Lord, if You will, You can make me clean."
Then He said ... "I will, I will, I will, I will, I will."
